Channing Tatum or Hugh Jackman? That was the question that was presented to me a few weeks ago. Channing has an amazing body and can get his grove on, but ultimately I had to pick Hugh. How could you not?! The man can act, sing, dance and pour a bucket of water over himself better than anyone! I also have a thing for accents. I really do. I have 6 men that I love not only because they are rough, can get dirty, blow things up, but yet have a beautiful melt your heart smile. Here are my top 6!

My #1 is: Gerard Butler - Home: Scotland

Yes he is a ladies man and a total, well, womanizer. I could use a few other words but they aren't appropriate. My love affair with him started back to when I first saw him in Attila. Sad that I have seen this movie but it's true. We had to watch it for something back in the day but I was hooked. My next run in with him was in "Reign of Fire". He stuck out to me in a cast full of lovely men such as Christian Bale and Matthew McConaughey. When he sealed the deal for me it was Hollywoods rendition of "The Phantom of the Opera". Now, I have loved this musical since I was a child. In my mind, Gerard is what the Phantom should be. Someone who is very attractive but yet, has a mauled face. The whole 'beauty within' comes to mind. His singing was sketchy at times but I will forever love him in that role. "300", ha, that was the decision in our fate. After watching that movie I decided that he was forever my #1 leading man. He then broke my heart in "P.S. I Love You" and cheerfully made it back into my life with "The Ugly Truth". "Gamer" was an 'okay' film that did involve him getting sweaty and his arms to be bulging out of his shirt. I was reaffirmed in our relationship when "Law Abiding Citizen" appeared on the big screen. Now, there is a part in this movie that was overwhelming for me on the big screen. I now own that movie for good. His good looks and charm shined through in "The Bounty Hunter" and I am looking forward to his next batch. He is very well rounded and doesn't stick to just one genre. His accent is amazing and adding that to his face, abs, back and arms, smile, teeth, and rugged looks, it's a done deal for me!

#2:  Clive Owen - Home: Warwickshire, England

My facination started with Mr. Clive Owen during the epic movie "King Arthur". This man in full metal armor, absolutely breathtaking. His accent got to peak through and him throwing a sword around was real art to me. It sunk my battleship and I was hooked. I will still proudly pull that movie out and watch it on a rainy day. "Sin City" was a horrible movie but was made better due to Clive's role, it made it bearable. "Derailed" portrayed him more as a 'bad boy' which apparently I like. "Shoot Em Up" once again was not film perfection but the eye candy makes it tolerable to sit through. His recent flicks "The Boys are Back" and "Duplicity" were action thrillers but not buy worhthy for me. I did shed a tear for "The Boys are Back". I'd like to see him pick it up again in film making!! His smile, well, it's like hot fudge on a sundae to me.

#3: Jason Statham - Home: London, England

Why yes, you can 'Transport' me anywhere! Call them what you want but I will forever own them in my collection. Even though Matt destroyed one of his! Traitor! JS is a ball-bustin action star! He has guts and determination. He is an upscale Bruce Willis. With again, an accent. One of my all time favorite movies is "The Italian Job". I have had to buy this DVD twice due to the fact I watched it so much in my college/single years. He played the bad boy that didn't give a rats about anything. I love how he is always cocky, arrogant and confident! Both "Crank" flicks along with "War" and "The Bank Job" placed him in my top 6. One of the only reasons to see "The Expendables" was him! 'Nough said! Any flick of his, good or bad, is welcomed in my home. I'm an action girl at heart!

#4: Hugh Jackman - Home: Sydney, Australia

Who does not want the man who can do all? Act, sing, dance, be a comedian. Seriously. Whole package here people. I know he is at the top of quite a few of my friends lists and I know friend in particular (coughjosiecough) would give anything to be in a dark alley for 2 mintes with him. My heart grew for him back in the days of "Kate and Leopold". Now, I may be one of the 10 people that actually saw the movie, but he stuck with me like a mosiquito in Minnesota. He switches it up often and I even like his hair long in "Van Helsing". I enjoyed "The Prestige" because I love movies with twists you don't see coming. The "X-Men" Saga (all 4 flicks) will always have a place for itself on my ever growing DVD collection. Lastly, who doesn't love 3 and a half hours of a hot sweaty Hugh Jackman in Austrialia?! That bucket of water was extremely lucky. I watched the Tony's a few years back just because he was the host. Totally worth it! His Austrialian accent and gianormous adorable smile will always have my attention! Plus all the surfer pics that appear online every so often, amazing.

#5: Sir Sean Connery - Home: Scotland

I may be alone in this. Yes, he is older. Ok, so he is 80. Look at Hephner. Anyways, Sean has been a part of my life for the longest. In college, we had posters, photos and Sean Connery nights. Now I will be the first to admit, I haven't seen much of his work previous to 1987. I have seen quite a few of the "James Bond" never-ending sagas. I think he caught my eye in "The Untouchables", which sadly I need to buy. Such a good flick. I also always loved him in the "Indiana Jones" films. He was always witty and sarcastic. For a long time I hated "The Hunt for Red October" until I found out he was one of the main character. If I catch it late at night on AMC or some 'man channel', I will watch it. (Although, Alec Baldwin was in it and still is not one of my favorite actors.) "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" and "First Knight" showed him as a King, which is a the perfect role for him. His accent + his demeanor + role as King = Match made in heaven! One movie that I own and will watching anytime is "Entrapment". I couldn't tell you why, but it has stuck with me all through the years. I loathe western movies. I really do. They have never been my thing. The only one that I do enjoy is "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen". The only reason for this, Connery. Now I know he hasn't made anything new in quite sometime but his previous films will always be enough for me! He will always be my favorite James Bond!

#6: Kevin McKidd - Home: Scotland

Another one that I might be all alone in. This bulky red head from Scotland has crept up on me like a hangnail. David got us watching "Rome" back in the day (2005). The series lasted two seasons on HBO that resulted in killing him so I stopped half way through the 2nd season. I protested! He then re-appeared in "Made of Honor" and even though I loved how the movie ended, I still felt bad for him. Then, magic. The stars aligned and he was on Grey's. (Irnoically co-starring with the man who stole his woman in "Made of Honor".) I about screamed. The way that man kisses Christina, it's just not right. Every woman should be kissed that way. They bumped him up to a season regular so now Thursdays on ABC during the Fall I can see this ginger and all that he bestows weekly! He plays an army vet, and that goes straight to me heart!

That is it! My top 6 men with accents. I am sure there are a few more that I could add. Man, the Scotties seem to be a trend for me! I am sure others could have made the list but these are my top men with accents!
